Faculty Research For Impact: Addressing UN SDG #10 – Reduced Inequalities

On Nov. 21, 2019, we addressed UN SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities. Three award-winning Ross faculty members (Jun Li, A. Yeşim Orhun, and Chris Rider) each shared key research in the +Impact Studio, and students had the opportunity to brainstorm possible next steps for how the research can be applied to real-world applications that make a positive impact.

Research subjects included:

  • Jun Li: New Research Looks At Ways to Help Stop Airbnb Racial Discrimination

  • Yeşim Orhun: Frugality Is Hard to Afford

  • Chris Rider: Racial Disparity in Leadership: Performance-Reward Bias in Promotions of NFL Coaches
